We have been quite fortunate to have a rainy spring in order for our flowers and grass to grow. My gardening skills have been limited to:
1) Hoping it rains so I don't have go outside and water
2) Hoping there wasn't some sort of maintenance I was supposed to do during the winter/spring in order for the pretty flowers/bushes (that were planted by the previous homeowner) to return
We have managed to keep several plants alive, but, unfortunately, a few have seen better days. Charles spent about 15 hours in the yard this past weekend pulling weeds, and he still did not get to all of them! It is practically a full time job to keep up with our landscaping. We love our yard, and it is so nice to be surrounded by trees and a pretty garden, we hope to continue the upkeep!
