We had Charles' mom and sister visit this weekend, and a nice time showing them around town.
We had lots of good meals and enjoyed a road trip to the International Peace Garden. It was a neat little place that sat on the border between the United States and Canada. One of the sculptures had two towers in Canada with the other two in the United States. We walked around the garden and took the scenic drive around the park.
Like any true Texan on a road trip, we made a stop at the Texas stop sign "Dairy Queen" on the way back from the garden. Annie and I also enjoyed a glass of wine at the vineyard, and we had some friends come over for a pizza night.
We found a hardware store with a wall full of soda. It had all the classic sodas as well as a couple odd ones like "Seal ya Later" and "Buffalo Wing Soda". We opted to just take a photo of these sodas and not bring them home to taste.
